Question about 'with'

Hi Teachers,

Which synonym could be appropriate for the preposition 'with'?

There is a man with a paper in his hands.

Could it be 'having' beacause it shows possession?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Thank for your reply.

I have a book about prepositions that says:

With: having, showing an attribute or possession.

Then it gives these examples:

1. Pat has a dog with blue eyes.

2. The car with the broken windown is Bob's.

3. The man with the beard is a professor.

4. The girl with the red hair is my friend.
