question about what do you do on holiday

Hi everyone, I am trying to make a sentence asking what would you do on holiday.
But the grammar makes me really confused. Could anyone tell me the following three sentences which one is right?

1. What would you do on a holiday? (or should I say: What would you like to do on a holiday? )
2. What do you do for the holidays?
3. What do you do in the holidays?

And about the singular and plural, holiday/ a holiday/ holidays, I don't know which one to choose.

Thank you in advance! : )

Hello Soophie; Welcome to English Forums! Your sentences #1 and #2 are very good. #1 would be a holiday that is only one day, such as Independence Day.
