Question about verbs

Here are two sentences. I need to know which form is correct.

I saw her, immediately feeling my cheeks become red.
I saw her, immediately feeling my cheeks becoming red.

I've seen people using both forms and hence got completely confused.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Xeno I'd say you first sentence suggests a nearly instantaneous change to red, and your second sentence suggests an immediate start of a more gradual change.

Yes, because both are correct.

Thank you very much, both of you.

Both are correct, but have slightly different meanings.

Did  your cheeks become red as red as they were going to become?  If so, use version one.

Did you want your reader to think your cheeks became read and (might have) continued to become even redder? If so, version two where they are "becoming" and may not yet be as red as they are going to get as the situation progresses.
