Question about the word "fighting"

Why it is used so many times in asian countries. I heard many people say it. It sounds unnatural for me. Is it ok to use this word instead of "cheer up"? Also, can the word "fist off" be used? I saw it on the internet.

mosja Is it ok to use this word instead of "cheer up"? Do you mean use the word "fighting" instead of "cheer up"? I cannot think of any context in which this could be possible.

Them's fighting words! (A very old meme spread by action movies.) It's actually a legal term.
