Question about the word Curate

Hi. I know the word curate normally goes with an exhibition. Can I curate an art festival or the programmes of a drama congress? Thanks!

Hi, The main meaning of 'curate' is to look after and preserve items, eg the curator of a museum. However, it can also mean to select, organize and present items, so it sounds OK for an exhibition of works of art. To me, it sounds a bit odd for a theatrical activity because there are no concrete 'things' involved.
