Question about 'suggest'

Hi Teachers,

Which one is better? If it is the second one, could you tell me why?

a) May I suggest you something about it?

b) May I suggest something about it?

Thanks in advance

Only B is possible. You cannot use 'suggest you' unless there is an omitted 'that'—which is not the case in A.

Hi Mister Micawber,

Thank so much for your reply. I finally understood when to use 'you' with the verb 'suggest'. Let's see if I'm not mistaken.

Eg. I suggest you (that) it will be better for all of us if you go to the meeting.

Is my example OK?
