Question about starting an e-mail workshop for my screenwriting class

Hi,

I can at least post here from google, if not from my newsreader.

I'm in the second semester of screenwriting, and we are now in workshop mode. some of us will only get to have one critique during the semester, and I thought of starting a private, unlisted yahoo group or something similar, just for the members of the class. This would be so we could exchange ideas, ask for advice and etc. in addition to our one chance at getting a critique of the whole screenplay.

Security is a big issue in this class, and according to class procedure, nobody gets a copy of anybody else's sp to take home. we have to write our critiques in class.

My concern about this is - what should I do to try to dispel these concerns on the private e-mail list too? I was thinking maybe having the policy be something like: No posting of complete screenplays, and it's up to the individual if he or she wants to post a scene they want to discuss.

These are people who do not in any way want their work to be public at this point. Any ideas or suggestions about a good way to handle this would be appreciated.

thanks,

tracy

Not to be indelicate, but aren't you cheating by setting up a script-sharing list when you're not supposed to share your material out of clase? And besides that... you
