Question about sentences

Dear all,

The following is the condition in India now. I would like to know whether the following sentences are correct.

"Despite we stay at home for one week, the transmission of the virus has not been declining is quite scary. But when we review the percentage of people who tested positive for Corona, it can be understood that the positive cases have been diminishing that really put our mind ease."
