Question about sentences

Dear all,

The other day one of my close friends died. I wish to send a message in our whats up group mentioning her death. I would like to know whether the following sentences are appropriate.

"With the passing way of Mary, we have lost a Precious Jewel if death were indeed stoppable, we would have kept it from coming your way.

Our Mary has left behind a legacy that will be read through the Current generati ons,and many to come.
Mary has left a mark in our hearts, and nothing will ever erase. It is indelible in our hearts.
YOU.. were a gem and will always remain to be cherished??
Surely Mary, our love for you will forever remain embedded in our HEARTS, till we are alive.. ??"
