Kindly correct the following text.
"Our touring party consisted of 39 persons. There was a lot of interaction among us and by the end we all jelled together very well. Some of the most active people included people around the age of 70."

That is pretty much all correct. To me, "jelled" looks wrongly spelled. I would spell it "gelled".

That is pretty much all correct. To me, "jelled" looks wrongly spelled. I would spell it "gelled". However, dictionaries recognise the spelling with a "j". It could be AmE, though the dictionaries I checked did not specifically say this.
Some people would put a comma after "among us".
Stylistically, the final sentence is very slightly clumsy, partly because of the repetition of "pe
