Dear all,
Yesterday I watched a "malayalam" movie named "Mamangam" from a movie theatre named "Dhanya". How a native English speaker express this idea? One of my friends advised me that I should say "I am at the movies/cinemas yesterday to watch the malayalam movie "Mamangam". If I say like this I cannot mention the theatre from which I watched the movie. I have to mention the movie theatre's name as well. Kindly tell me whether the following expression is correct. If wrong, please correct it.
1) I watched the malayalam movie "Mamangam" from Dhanya Theatre.
Thank you.
It's like this: I was at the Dhanya Theatre yesterday watching the malayalam movie "Mamangam". OR I watched the malayalam movie "Mamangam" at the Dhanya Theatre yesterday. Note that it's "at the" before the name of a theatre: at the VonLee Theatre at the Fox Theatre at the Rivoli Theatre CJ
