Dear all,

I would like to know whether the following sentence is natural. If it is not natural kindly tell me how native speakers express the same idea.

1) I am two months away from 40 years old.

You would be better off saying:

I am two months away from BEING / TURNING forty [years old].

That's assuming you don't just change it to CJ's simpler sentence!
