Question about sentences

Dear all,

I would like to know which of the following sentences are correct. If both are correct please tell me the difference in the meaning.

1) I arrived at the Art Gallery just as it was closing.

2) I arrived at the Art Gallery just as it was about to close.

Thank you.

Apart from the suspect capitalisation, they are both OK. Strictly speaking, (1) means that it was in the process of closing as you arrived, while (2) means that it closed very shortly after you arrived. However, in practice (1) can include the meaning of (2).
