Question about sentences

Dear all,

I would like to know whether the following sentence is correct. I saw this sentence in a book. But as far as I know this belongs to third conditional sentence, so the first portion should have been "If I had seen you" or Does it belong to mixed conditionals? Kindly enlighten me.


1) If I saw you, I would have stopped my car.
