Question about sentences

Dear all,

I would like to know which of the following sentences is correct. Here one person tells to his co-travellor to inform him when the bus they are travelling reaches the bus stand. He is new to that place.

Please tell me when this bus has reached the bus stand.

Please tell me when this bus reaches the bus stand.
