Question about Second Conditional!

Hello!! This is a remarkable site to learn and polish our grammar skills!

I have a question:

1.- Is it correct If I say: Was/were she to see a ghost, she would scream.

I know that the common way to write that semtence would be: If she saw a ghost, she would scream. I just want to know if that option is fine.
