Question about possessive case

Hello,

When writing a letter to a group should I say Carrie and I would like you to join us on this committee. Or should I say Carrie and me?

I would appreciate a response.

Thank you,

Sandy

You would say, "Carrie and I would like you to join us on this committee."

This is because the I is part of the subject of the sentence...Carrie and I, and I is the subjective form of the first person singular pronoun.

An easy trick to figure this out is to drop the other person's name and read the sentence. You would not say, "Me would like you to join us on this committee."
