Question about posessive
Do I make "lives" plural is parents are plural in the sentence:
My parents' lives were wonderful.
(meaning my mom's and dad's life were both great."
or should it be
parents' life.

I'd use singular if you're referring to their life together, plural if referring to their individual lives, or the things they did separately (their careers, sports, etc.).
