Hi!
I am writing two sentences and connecting them using "and".
The verbs in both sentences are in Simple Present.
It is a statement about something that usually happens.
Am I allowed to include a participial phrase in the second sentence, where the participle will be in present perfect tense?
The participial phrase will justify why what is referred in the second sentence is true.
Could anyone help, please?
Stephanie 1 Am I allowed to include a participial phrase in the second sentence, where the participle will be in present perfect tense? Hmmm. Participles are non-finite verbs (some texts call them verbals).

Hmmm. Participles are non-finite verbs (some texts call them verbals). They don't have tense.
Please give an example of your writing.
