Question about option and choice

Hi teachers~

I am having a hard time with the two words here.- choice and option

I think the answer is choice meaning I will be served with the vegetables I already chose.

Any advice?

At the banquet you will be served with a variety of gourmet foods and your _______ of vegetables before entree.

Thank you in advance.

Just from being a native speaker and having read a lot of texts that express the same idea, I can tell you that "choice" is the word that goes in the blank. Nobody would say that you'll be served your option of vegetables. When you choose the vegetables has nothing to do with it.
