Hello,<br/><br/>I have a question about the following sentence:<br/><br/>"He had been members of X, Y, and Z."<br/><br/>with X, Y, and Z being three different organizations/associations.<br/><br/>I was recently talking to my friend, she feels that it should be:<br/><br/>"He had been a member of X, Y, and Z."<br/><br/>So, I'm confused now, too. Please help. <img class='emoticon' style='Width:19px;Height:19px;' data-delaysrc='https://uat-englishforward-forums-backend.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Emoticons/1.gif' src='https://uat-englishforward-forums-backend.s3.us-west-2.amazonaws.com/Emoticons/1.gif' alt='Emotion: smile'/>
