Hi John,

How's this TS?

Chosse the correct word(s) and rewrite the sentence on the corresponding lines.

What purpose is served by rewriting what is already written? (reinveting the wheel)

Isn't the goal of the exercise to determine the correct word or words?

Cheers,

John

Hi John,

Of course I'm not reinventing the wheel. Besides choosing the right word(s), they practice the writing. Is that such a bad idea?

Best,

You're absolutely right, TS

Good penmanship is necessary, and writing is the only way to improve it.

No, it's not a bad idea at all to have students write out the answers - particularly today as we move away from writing to typing almost everything.

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply. I also do think the same about moving away from handwriting.

Best,

TS
