Well, that's because you don't have the pages and it will be too long to explain you the whole thing. My doubt is only about the last part, 'to do the exercise'. Shouldn't it be 'to make the exercise'.

Don't take this the wrong way but since no one on these forums is a mind reader it would behoove you to ask your questions with as much specificity and clarity as possible.

That definitely sounds wrong. In the context of a test "do the exercise" is correct. You could also say "complete the exercise" if that fits (if, for example, it's a fill in the blanks exercise) but "do the exercise" is always correct.
