Question about description of distance

Hi everyone,

What's the native expression for the following situation.

A: Hey Christina, Where do you live?
B: I live pretty close to school. About ten-minute walk.

Here, is " ten-minute walk" the right expression?
Also, what about "ten-minute walking distance"? what kind of adjectives can I put here to describe the distance.

Thanks in advance.
