Question about curves

Hi everyone

I have a question about curves. I want to write that a curve has been extracted from a test. Which word is more appropriate for the sentence?

The curve is acquired by injecting mercury as a non-wetting phase into a sample which is saturated by a wetting phase (usually water or air).

The curve is constructed by injecting mercury as a non-wetting phase into a sample which is saturated by a wetting phase (usually water or air).

The curve is obtained by injecting mercury as a non-wetting phase into a sample which is saturated by a wetting phase (usually water or air).

Is there a better one?

Is there a useful website, book or something like that for mathematical phrases?

Thank you in advance
