Question about 'anything'

Hi Teachers,

Could you tell me why they use 'anything' and not 'everything' in the following sentence, if it is an affirmative sentence:

At this online store, people can buy books, CDs, toys, electronics, gourmet food, and almost anything.

Thanks in advance

Hi Mister Micawber,

Thank you very much for your reply. So there's a logical reason and not a grammatical one. Right?
