Question about a title: Ellipsis

Hi Teachers,
Could you tell me if the following title is correct? What I don't like is the ellipsis, can I subtitute it with a period? Any
other suggestions for the title are more than welcome.

The Simple Past with ‘Ago’ and ‘How long Ago?’: Reading & Writing Activities

Though in this title, there is no problem with the ellipsis for me, in the one above I just don't feel it is the right one. Am I right about this one?
Quantifiers: Reading & Writing Activities

Information to consider: There more than just a few titles with this idea, '... : Reading & Writing Activities' in my manuscript.

Thanks in advance
