Question about "a concert"

"See that building over there? That's where went to a concert once. Remember"?
I can't understand why "a concert". Both of us have been to this concert. The rule: "if you know what you're talking about, use the". Is it because the concert is not memorable so not emphasized? Just some concert?

What if they went to only one together, but it was very forgettable and a long time ago. Not important enough to remember.
