Do you mean John? Or Joan? Or is Jone a name in your part of the world?

Also, "his" or "her" homework.

No necessarily -- maybe the intention was "I have Jone do my homework."

Well... I thought about putting that caveat in there. And then decided on Occam's razor.

(Or even: I had the TA do the homework before I assigned it to the class to make sure it wasn't too easy.)
