Question

1. As for the following sentence, does "milestone" make sense? In Japanese language, Japanese people use "milestone in Japanese" as schedule.

2. Is "suggested to renew" correct here or is "suggested renewing" correct?

Since the environment around our company has been dramatically changing, I suggested to renew our milestones for us to be able to judge what skills we should get next.

That's not how "milestone" works in English. It is not quite synonymous with "goal" or "objective."
