Hi!I'm a norwegian writing a song in english. Is it possible to say this:     ..takes me up - higher than the dark clouds go'Clouds' is of course meant metaphorically. But still, can you say 'go' about clouds? (If it was 'planes' og 'birds' i guess it would be technically ok to say it)

Yes, you can use 'clouds' and 'go' together. Your words seem fine to me.

Clouds can go north, east, west or south, clouds go up, clouds go fast, clouds go by, you can watch clouds go by, clouds go white, clouds go light, clouds go a specific color, clouds go dark, clouds go black, clouds go grey, clouds go away, clouds go sailing and clouds go high.
You can ask: How high do clouds go? How high do clouds go up?

Also an option: ...takes me up - above the dark clouds/ higher than the dark clouds above
