Question

I have a question.
I already know to use these but I want to ask something more.

Examples:

I have to go.
I got to go.
I have got to go.

Aren't all these interchangeable?
And I know that the meaning is the same.

Anyone?

If you ignore any questions of using the appropriate grammar for your audience then they are interchangeable. The first and second are correct and appropriate for most any audience the second is incorrect grammatically but is often used in very informal settings.

So, in everyday speech I can use all 3?
And which one of those is the most formal? And I have is the most formal?

What about: I have
I have got

Again, the meaning is the same. What's the difference?

Yes, if you don't mind people thinking you don't know your grammar. As I said, number two is grammatically incorrect and should only be used in very informal settings. That means it should only be used in situations where the people around you use the same fractured grammar or they know you well and wil

Okay.

And what about possession.

I have and I have got?
