Are these two questions acceptable? Can they be better?

Thanks in advance

Hi

hmmm...well the sentences seem ok to me, especially the first one (Where do young Americans prefer to live?). Just I do not understand what you mean by "Older Americans". Do you mean Elderly People??

Hi Natalli,

Thank you for your reply.
Natalli.Do you mean Elderly People??
Yes I do. But the book, which also has a CD, has written it this way.

This is the sentence:

On the other hand, many older Americans prefer to live in smaller towns.

Is it a good sentence?

well welcome:)

I do not think it is a good sentence. However, it could be better. On the other hand, we should think that not everything written in the books can be valid and reliable

Hi again,

Then I should tell the students that it is better to use 'elderly' than 'older' shouldn't I?

Best regards
