10pt or 12 pt? Might be nitpicking, but they say that query letter is everything, it must be perfection.

12 point which equals 10 characters per inch. Tends to be a confusingquestion because 10 pitch equals 12 point and 10 pitch is the typewriter standard. (I think.)

I usually call, but I speak in Courier 12 point.

I don't use Courier for anything except scripts. Monospaced fonts are too **** hard to read.
I use Times New Roman, put it on letterhead, and use good-quality paper.

I bought some 32lb 100% cotton yesterday, then returned it today for 23lb 100% cotton. **** if the 32lb almost felt like cardstock am I correct in that 32lb would have been overkill? I am just going to use white 24lb 100% cotton, watermarked, unless there is some reason to use some other color of paper?

If there isn't, here it is:
12 pt Helvetica, double spaced.Same paper stock as your script.
