QUERIES

1. If a person is dead already and he being a well known figure and we people celebrate his birthday even after his death, Can I use in my sentence " On his 123rd birthday" or should I use some other word in place of birthday.

2. When someone had a very good time, they tend to say " I had a ball of my time". is this sentence gramatically correct or should it be" i had a ball of the time" or should it be something else.
