quarter

Hello,

1. It is a quarter to six o'clock.

I want to correct the abpve sentence. I only "o'clock" might be not required but not sure.

What is the rule for this?

Thanks.

Don't say o'clock in examples like these.
It is a quarter to six.
It's 10 past six.
It's six ten.

When it's exactly six, you can say either of these forms.
It is six
