Vocabulary

quantative and qualitative

Can you help me to work out this expression in blue?

Thanks

Further development of the technological processes enabled qualitative and quantative satisfaction of the present demand for petrol and diesel fuel, as well as for base petrol and hydrocarbon gas, as raw materials for petrochemical industry.

That would simply mean : (compared with past) more people are more satisfied.

It seems pretty good to me except for the one change of spelling and addition of 'the' shown in red.

Sorry, my trying to use colours and italics didn't work too well!

So in simpler style:

- quantative should be quantitative

- should be 'the petrochemical industry'

- maybe 'as well as for base petrol and hydrocarbon gas'
should be just 'hydrocarbon gases'.

The term 'base petrol' doesn't really mean anything to me.

Hello,

Base petrol is a literate translation of an expression. I have to see what it means but I've found it on google.

hydrocarbon gases- well, actually the literate translation would be gas-like hydrocarbon.

I found it on Google too but it doesn't help explain the meaning of the term.

I would definitely use 'hydrocarbon gases' rather than the literal translation.
