Quality ASSURANCE tasks?

The context I saw goes as "This job will require you to perform quality ASSURANCE tasks in order to maintain the integrity of the deliverables."

I'm just HIGHLY doubtful of the usage of that "quality assurance" of tasks right there. Isn't is supposed to be "quality ASSURED"?

Also, why do I have to wait for moderators of this site to prove of my posts every time I post ? I don't think I'm new anymore!:)
