Q42: 'Insist on...' and 'Insist that...'

Hello, 

Could you please check if the following sentences are natural and correct grammatically? Also, do they have the same meaning?

= I wouldn't insist on giving you anything until your birthday.

= I woudn't insist that you take anything from me until your birthday.

I'm not sure what context you might say this in.

A simpler example.
eg She insisted on a kiss.
eg She insisted that I kiss her.
