Q4: Need your help, please

Hi,

A) Please do not take it ill.
B) Please do not take it to heart.
C) Please do not mind it.
D) Please do not feel bad about it.

[Do they all mean the same thing, please? Could we also say things for eg, 'my words', 'my remarks''what I'm going to say' etc. in place of 'it' in the examples above?]

No, they don't mean exactly the same thing, although there is overlaps in a couple of sentences.. " phrase with an adverb, or an adverbial phrase to express different thoughts. Since they don't have a context to go with them, by themselves, their meaning is relatively vague in my opinion A) Please do not take it ill.

Thank you! And how about 'Do not take it otherwise'? Does it mean 'do not take it the wrong way / negatively'? Or Does it mean 'do not take it seriously'?... By the way, I didn't get the difference between 'taking something the wrong way / negatively' and 'taking something seriously'.
