Q24: 'how did you find the soup'

Hello teachers,

The context is: In a restaurant, a waiter is attending a customer. He takes his/her order. The customer orders for a soup and the waiter brings him the soup. He (the waiter) puts the soup on their table and walks away saying 'Sir/ma'am, here's your order for xyz soup. Enjoy your soup!'. After a while, the waiter comes back to the customer and asks 'Sir/ma'am, how did you find the soup?

Teachers, I want to ask you what sentence in bold means, please. Is it correct English?

Thank you.

Thanks for your replies!
Is it also possible to say 'How did you like the soup?' If I want to ask somebody 'How was the soup? Did you like it/did it taste good?'?
