Q12: 'excuse me', 'I'm sorry', 'forgive me', 'pardon me'

Hello,

When someone sneezes at a public place or when there are people around him/her, I hear them saying 'excuse me' or 'I'm sorry' or just 'sorry'.
I want to ask you if we could use/say either 'excuse me' or 'I'm sorry' in a situation like I mentioned above. And could we also say 'forgive me' or 'pardon me'?

Thank you.

In my experience, one only says something if there is at least some small degree of personal connection to other people around one.
eg If one sneezes in a subway car full of strangers, one usually says nothing.
