Find the mistake in the following sentence:
1-My sister is making a research on animals.
My answer is:
My sister is doing a research on animals
A friend of mine says that we can't say "a research", but I found a sentence in Oxford Dictionary that reads as follows : We will carry out a research.....
I would appreciate it if you gave me the correct answer.
