put your head up vs raise your head up ?

When I wash my daughter’s hair before put some shampoo, I tell her “put your head up” not to get water in her eyes, so water drops to her back, not to face.

Dese It make sense?
Or, should I say “raise your head up”?

Any advice will be very grateful.
Thank you in advance.Emotion: smile

Both of those make sense, but probably I would say "Hold your head up".

"Lift your head up" is another good possibility.
