Put up with/tolerate/endure, no...

Hi,

Can anyone help me find a more suitable word like tolerate/endure/put up with to use in these situations:

I need a bike to go to school, but I can't afford one so I'll have use the one I found from the junkyard. (what am I doing with the crappy bike?)
I'm really hungry now but all the stores are already closed, so I'll have to eat yesterday's leftover junk food. (what am I doing with the food?)
I live in a cheap, noisy house but I'm too poor to rent a better place so I'll have to ____ for now.

What I'm trying to find is a word which can be used to say "I have to tolerate this object because there's no alternative". Since tolerate, endure are used for situations, I wonder if there are better words.

Hopefully someone knows what I'm talking about. Emotion: smile

Thanks!

How about "make do"? You'll have to make do with the junkyard bike until you can afford a new one.
