Put through to someone vs connect to someon

Hi

Would you say that all of these carry the same meaning and are equally natural? Any other (better) way of saying the same thing?

(On the phone)

I wish to speak to Mr. Archer. Can you please connect me to him?

I wish to speak to Mr. Archer. Can you please put me through to him?

I wish to speak to Mr. Archer. Can you please put him online?
