Put on makeup and get my face on

Hi teachers.

I just learned that GET MY FACE ON is an informal version of PUT ON MAKE UP.

Q1. I am wondering how common GET MY FACE ON is. People use GET MY FACE ON more than or as often as PUT ON MAKEUP?

Q2. I am wondering which one is right. PUT ON MY MAKEUP or PUT ON MAKEUP?

People seem to use them both.

Thank you~~~
