Vocabulary

put in

Hi!
I read the following script in a TOEIC speaking book:

"Hi, Martha. Thank you for your call. So we have some budget for improving the office, and we need to collect the ideas from everyone and figure out what’s the best one. Well, how about I put a box in the hallway where they can put in anonymously what kind of office improvement we should have? They have one week to do that, and in the week following, we will have all the ideas posted on the wall, and they can vote, again anonymously, and we will pick the one that got the most vote."

Would you please paraphrase "put in" in the above? (I want to know the exact meaning of the phrase "put in" in the above context.)
Thanks in advance.

Niue So we have some budget So we have a budget Niue we need to collect the ideas Using "the" only makes sense if you have already established particular ideas. If you have not, you should drop "the". Niue and in the week following , and in the following week , Niue posted on the wall, Which wall?

  • Niue So we have some budget So we have a budget Niue we need to collect the ideas Using "the" only makes sense if you have already established particular ideas.
  • If you have not, you should drop "the".
  • Niue and in the week following , and in the following week , Niue posted on the wall, Which wall?
  • If you don't mention one in particular, it would make more sense to write "posted on a wall,".
  • Niue and we will pick the one that got the most vote .
