Australian captain Michael Clarke won the toss and chose to bowl against Pakistan in the second semifinal of the Twenty20 World Cup at Beausejour Stadium in St Lucia on Friday.

Let me add this.

In physical terms, the 'brink' is the extreme edge of land before a sudden drop, such as a cliff or the high bank of a river. Thus, if you are pushed to such a brink, you are in serious danger of falling.
