I wonder if this sentence is correct? And if it is correct what does it mean by "purchasing had been contacted about this feature by the vendor"?
I think I can understand it. but maybe I need more elaboration.
It was learned that purchasing had been contacted about this feature by the vendor years ago but the information was never passed on to marketing or design.
